Overview
JOWATHERM REAKTANT 608.00 is a polyurethane reactive (PUR) hot melt adhesive formulated with modern raw materials for the highest requirements in edgebanding. It delivers a translucent bondline with a broad spectrum of adhesion, excellent thermal stability, and high initial strength. The significantly reduced adhesive application amount produces almost invisible joints, making it the preferred choice for premium furniture and cabinetry production. Crosslinking occurs within a few days depending on ambient humidity and substrate moisture content.
Process at 110–130 °C. Requires moisture-cure environment. Always purge equipment with Jowat 930.94 cleaning agent after use to prevent PUR curing inside the pot. Available in natural (608.00) and white (608.01) variants. Also sold as Holz-Her cartridge slug (SKU 8032).
