Overview
JOWAT 930.94 is a specialized cleaning and purging agent designed for use after running polyurethane reactive (PUR) hot melt adhesives. Because PUR adhesive begins to cure as soon as it cools and continues cross-linking with ambient moisture, a dedicated purging material must be run immediately after the adhesive is finished dispensing to prevent permanent curing inside the equipment. The distinctive red/orange color provides clear visual confirmation that all PUR adhesive has been displaced. A special additive prevents the chemical reaction of the PUR hot melt during the flushing procedure.
Supplied as 2 KG Holz-Her compatible foil-wrapped slugs, box of 6. Run the entire slug through the glue pot after PUR use. Ensure all purge material is expelled before adding new adhesive — remnants can inhibit cross-linking. Compatible with all Jowatherm Reaktant PUR products (608.00, 608.01, 608.90, etc.).
