Product Overview
Helmitherm 483 is a long open-time edgebanding hot melt specifically formulated for contour, softforming, and low-speed edgebanding applications. Its clear formulation and extended working time make it ideal for use on contour and low-speed edgebanders that apply hot melt directly to the edgetape, ensuring complete wetting and a strong, invisible bond line.
The long open time ensures reliable bonds when used on contour edgebanders and manual or low-speed machines where the adhesive needs to remain workable longer. Delivers very good heat resistance and clean running characteristics, reducing the need for post-processing cleanup. The clear color makes glue lines virtually invisible on any substrate tone.
