Product Overview
Helmitherm 470 is a high-performance, very high heat-resistant APAO (Amorphous Poly-Alpha-Olefin) edgebanding hot melt adhesive with aggressive adhesion to all types of edgebanding materials. Unlike conventional EVA adhesives, the 470 eliminates the need to prime HPL or solid wood edges, saving time and material costs while producing a stronger, more heat-resistant bond.
Engineered for difficult-to-bond substrates where standard EVA adhesives fall short. The APAO technology provides superior heat resistance that outperforms EVA formulations, making it the go-to choice for high-pressure laminate, solid hardwood edges, and demanding kitchen and bath applications.
