Helmistik 1680 is a solvent-based non-methylene chloride contact adhesive formulated for safe, high-performance applications in cabinet making, countertop fabrication, and millwork assembly. The HAPS-free formula eliminates hazardous air pollutants while delivering excellent green strength and high heat resistance. Available in aerosol and pressurized canister formats from 15 oz to 280 lb for operations of every scale.
Bonds HPL, particleboard, MDF, OSB, plywood, steel, and rigid plastics. Optimized for dual-surface spray application at 18°C or higher, with best results at 21°C+. High solids formulation provides coverage of 2.5–3.0 dry g/ft² at 80–100% coverage. Long open time at room temperature with excellent green strength for immediate handling.
